Church Leadership Institute for Ministry For many, one night a month in class, learning about ministry issues would not seem like a great way to spend your time. But for a large group from around Mid-America, it is quite an exciting and enriching experience. Beginning with a dream of a class of twelve, the Institute of Pastoral Leadership Development actually began in February 2005 with a class of 64 persons. The total headcount currently consists of more than 300 persons, driving from Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado and throughout Kansas. The persons represent high school and college students, bi-vocational and full time pastors, newly entering and veteran pastors, Sunday school teachers and youth pastors. Anyone interested in attending may still enroll and attend. Please call the Friends Ministry Center and talk to Dave Kingrey, the director, or David Robinson, Superintendent, about becoming a part of this explosion of developing leaders for today’s and tomorrow’s church.
