Prison Ministry
 Our MISSION - Isaiah 61:1, "He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the
prisoners."
Our VISION - to fulfill Isaiah 61:1 by sharing Jesus Christ with the
"least of these."
We DESIRE to...
1. EVANGELIZE unbelievers in the corrections system through Christian
programming at area correctional facilities
2. EXHORT inmates to be strong in Christ through worship and Bible study time
with the "church behind the walls"
3. ENCOURAGE families of inmates through fellowship meals and loving support
4. ENABLE ex-offenders to successfully reintegrate into society through mentoring
and networking with aftercare ministries
5. EDUCATE the body of Christ about prison ministry needs and opportunities
through speaking engagements and presentations
6. EQUIP believers with the tools necessary for effective prison ministry through
training seminars
Because prison ministry takes teamwork, we network with other area ministries to
accomplish the things listed above.
